Christopher Currier is the Director of Trade Marketing for Sennheiser and Neumann in the Americas. He is also the voice of Neumann and Sennheiser microphones for radio and television commercials. He has worked for the company for 15 years and is the voice of their telephone system, trade shows and all locally produced video content (some content comes direct from their parent company in Germany). He’s also completed corporate voice work for IBM, HP and Emerson Process Management.
Christopher is also the host of a popular podcast as he explains in his own words. The WorldWide Countdown Podcast is for lovers of popular music. Our primary goal is to expose you to pop music from around the world that you might not have heard before. In addition, we’ll keep our eyes on the big songs making waves both here in the U.S. and around the world. We’ll even try to throw in some of the fun and unique information behind the songs and artists we feature on our show. A veritable fountain of pop music potpourri!
The show is presented in a countdown format based on a formula that was put together by our creator and host, Christopher Currier. Each week we take 4 countdowns from around the world, add up the chart values for the Top 20 (or, in some cases, just the top 5 or 10) from each of those charts and those songs will become part of the WWCD for the month.
Our show is currently produced monthly with the occasional ‘special’ countdowns thrown in for fun (like ‘Songs of the Summer’ or our WWCD Holiday Edition). We hope to become a weekly podcast and to be your source for new, popular music from around the world!
